Pseudo Heaven

Sometimes I wonder what would happen to villages in RPGs if the only 2-8 people capable of doing a goddamn thing about anything didn’t randomly walk by and decide to stop, y’know, saving the whole goddamn world just to help out.

What’d probably happen is they wouldn’t arrive JUST as the main villain(s) completes their evil plan and wouldn’t have to fight them in some crazy-ass overpowered godlike state.
